Tomorrow is Halloween, and we'll seize the opportunity to introduce our students to a bit of gothic literature. Kristian and I did it very successfully last term, but this time we'll get the benefit of October snow and darkness, rather than they darling buds of May that accompanied us last time...
First our students will be lectured on characteristics of gothic literature, before they get a real treat: a viewing of Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula. It'll be fair to say that the teachers are thrilled. Afterwards some of them will be given a PhotoStory project file with the first stanza of The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes, and their challenge is to tell the rest of the story. And here's the PhotoStory I've made, and indeed the real reason for this post: I'm proud of it and I really want to show it off!
